Rachel Davis, DVM
Chief of Staff
Dr. Davis is a mixed animal veterinarian with a passion for both small and large animal medicine, with a particular interest in herd health and livestock care. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Dordt College before pursuing her veterinary degree at St. George’s University, graduating in 2019.
Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Davis spent 2.5 years working for a genetics company where she raised bottle calves—an experience that helped shape her strong foundation in large animal care and management. She began her veterinary career at Jennings Veterinarians in January 2019, making this her first practice after graduation.
Dr. Davis was drawn to the clinic’s family-oriented atmosphere, collaborative team approach, and the charm of a small-town community surrounded by opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. She thrives on the variety each day brings in mixed animal medicine and especially enjoys working alongside her colleagues to tackle challenging cases.
Originally from Mora, Minnesota, Dr. Davis now lives on a farm in the country, where her love for animals extends well beyond the clinic. She shares her home with three dogs—Jeffrey, a three-legged rescue from veterinary school; Beast, a pit bull mix; and Domino, an English Coonhound—along with two outdoor cats, chickens, and goats.
Dr. Davis values the relationships she builds with clients and finds great fulfillment in caring for pets throughout their lives while helping owners navigate even the most complex situations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and animals, thrift shopping, traveling, exploring new places, and working on crafts and puzzles whenever she finds a spare moment.
